BS-400 è uno strumento a pavimento per dosaggi di Chimica Clinica, discreto e ad accesso random che effettua 400 test/h, sino a 640 test/h con ISE. Ideale come strumento principale per medie - grandi routine o come back-up, con 90 posizioni per campioni e 77 metodiche, 4 elettroliti. Utilizza 12 lunghezze di lettura da 340 a 800 nm e minimo volume di campione e reazione, con 90 cuvette di reazione a bordo riscaldate con sistema a secco. Il sistema di lavaggio ad otto aghi garantisce affidabilità ed accuratezza dei risultati. Il Software ha un'interfaccia grafica semplice ed intuitiva, con funzioni utili e flessibili e monitoraggio in tempo reale della curva di reazione. Permette, inoltre, l'ottimizzazione della sequenza dei test per ridurre il carry-over. Si inserisce con facilità nella routine di laboratorio, con un ampio menù di analiti (comprensivo di Droghe) e risultati di qualità elevata.
